    APPLICATION-READINESS FILE

Build the file before the call opens.

The strongest scheme application is an evidence system: eligibility, problem, innovation, impact, use-of-funds, milestones, finance and ownership all agree.

    1

    Legal identity

Incorporation/registration, PAN, ownership, registered office and authority should tell one consistent story.

    2

    Recognition map

Check DPIIT recognition, Udyam, sector licences, state registration and incubator affiliation only where the target route requires them.

    3

    Problem and beneficiary

Define the problem, intended users, measurable benefit and why the proposed product or process is distinct.

    4

    Stage evidence

Separate idea, proof of concept, prototype, pilot, market entry and scale. Preserve dated evidence for the current stage.

    5

    Use-of-funds

Link each requested amount to eligible activity, milestone, vendor estimate, timeline and accountable owner.

    6

    Financial file

Maintain historical statements, projections, unit economics, promoter contribution, tax records and a funding-source bridge.

    7

    IP and technology

Record ownership, licences, development history, data rights, research partners and freedom-to-operate questions.

    8

    Application controls

Track version, portal, call number, opening/closing date, declaration, submission proof, query and outcome.

    FOUNDER-PROFILE ROUTES

Profile benefits without reducing the founder to one label.

    WHERE POLICY ATTENTION IS MOVING

Build for a supported problem, not a fashionable label.

These signals describe the direction visible across current official programmes. They do not guarantee that a future call will open or that a particular business will qualify.

    SIGNAL 01

    Deep technology and research

Policy attention is moving toward higher-TRL research, critical technology, AI, quantum, robotics and strategic self-reliance. Research ownership and technical validation become central.

    SIGNAL 02

    Defence, space and dual use

Challenge-led procurement and prototype programmes favour a defined problem statement, capable technical team and credible development milestones.

    SIGNAL 03

    Agriculture and rural value chains

Traceability, farmer outcomes, productivity, climate resilience, storage, processing and market access create stronger programme fit than a generic marketplace description.

    SIGNAL 04

    Climate, energy and circularity

Energy transition, resource efficiency, low-carbon manufacturing, waste, water and climate adaptation increasingly require measurable impact and deployable economics.

    SIGNAL 05

    Biotechnology and health

Scientific validation, ethics, clinical or regulatory pathways, laboratory access and IP strategy determine readiness for specialised programmes.

    SIGNAL 06

    Electronics and manufacturing

Design capability, domestic value addition, quality, supply-chain resilience and scale-up plans matter across semiconductor, electronics and production-linked ecosystems.

    SIGNAL 07

    Digital public infrastructure

Fintech, commerce, skilling, health and governance solutions increasingly need privacy, security, interoperability and responsible data-use evidence.

    SIGNAL 08

    Market access over generic grants

Procurement, incubator networks, testbeds, export support and corporate pilots can be more valuable than an untargeted grant application.

    PRACTICAL ANSWERS

Know the limits before you commit.

Clear answers protect founders from expired schemes, false guarantees and applications built around the wrong cost head.

01Does RegisCorp guarantee a grant, subsidy, loan, tender or cloud credit?

No. Eligibility, application windows, competition, lender appraisal, incubator or authority selection and available budgets remain outside any adviser's control. RegisCorp can help screen routes, organise evidence and prepare the application file.

02Is every government scheme open throughout the year?

No. Some are continuing frameworks; others operate through calls, cohorts, challenges or lender windows. The live official portal and latest notice must be checked before any application work begins.

03Does DPIIT recognition automatically release funding?

No. Recognition can enable access to specified benefits, but every funding, tax, procurement or support route retains its own criteria and process.

04Can a normal business apply, or must it be a technology startup?

Many MSME, credit, employment, rural, manufacturing and state incentive routes extend beyond technology startups. The correct route depends on entity, activity, location, size, stage and intended use of support.

    05Are cloud credits government grants?

Usually not. Cloud and software credits are commonly ecosystem or corporate programmes with their own verification, usage, expiry and conversion terms. They should be tracked separately from public grants and subsidies.

06Can a founder apply to both central and state programmes?

Potentially, subject to each programme's eligibility, duplication restrictions, subsidy caps and disclosure rules. A funding-source matrix should identify overlapping cost heads before applications are filed.

TURN DISCOVERY INTO AN APPLICATION PLAN

Get a shortlist with evidence gaps, owners and next dates.

We can review the business, founder profile, state, sector, stage and intended spend; identify credible routes; and scope the documentation work. Selection or sanction remains with the relevant authority, lender, incubator or programme operator.

    EXPLORE BY DECISION

Find the exact service or city route.

Direct paths help businesses, and search engines, reach the most relevant RegisCorp guide without navigating through generic pages.
